Vipassana, which means 'to see things as they really are', is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It is a universal remedy for universal ills, an Art of Living. View an Introduction to Vipassana by the principal teacher, Mr. Goenka.
The technique of Vipassana Meditation is taught at ten-day residential courses. All expenses for these courses are met by donations. Read more about the technique and the rules of a course.
Courses are organised at the Vipassana Meditation Centre Dhamma Sumeru in Mont-Soleil, Switzerland, and at many other centres and temporary sites throughout the world.
You are all warmly invited to the open day of the Vipassana Centre at Dhamma Sumeru.
The event will take place on September 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This day is a unique opportunity to introduce the Centre to neighbors, meditators' families and friends, and anyone else who would like to learn more about the Centre and the association. Children are of course welcome.
The program includes guided tours, video films, games for children and snacks.
All old students are welcome to join us the day before, on September 14, to help prepare the center. The organisation of the Open Day offers a wonderful and pleasant opportunity for service at Dhamma Sumeru. If you are interested in helping to set up the day, please contact us by e-mail at [email protected].
Please find enclosed invitations in all four languages.
See you soon!
